I think that my horse who has had a throat operation previously gets some relief with his breathing from daily consumption of slippery elm in his feed.

I have been using this product for 2 years in both my elderly dogs and also my horses. I give it to our JR dog who is now 16 yrs old as he has a sensitive gut and used to have problems with bouts of vomiting and diarrhoea that have now almost completely ceased and he is a much happier dog.

I also use it for my old horses (17 & 32 yrs old) who have serious scouring issues, which lead to skin problems and insect problems, as soon as the green feed comes in right through to summer. I use this is conjunction with Aloe Vera Gel and now I find they do not scour which has eliminated the problems with their skin on their butt & legs and we now have no problems with insects hanging around them due to the scouring.

I highly recommend these products for your animals - dogs and horses for gut issues.
