Calendula Flowers (Calendula officinalis) is primarily recognised for its antiseptic, detoxification and healing properties.

May help prevent the spread of infection and quicken recovery time. May help combat fevers, infections and skin disorders in equines.

Rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, most horses will find Calendula Flowers highly palatable.

Note; The cultivar, Calendula officinalis, should only be used, and not the common garden variety.

Dosage: 20g per day/500kg horse

How to Administer

Dried herbs may be added directly to your horse’s dampened feed in their dry state. Alternatively, (recommended) they may be made into an infusion (herbal tea) prior to use and the soaked herbs and liquid poured over their feed. By making an infusion prior to feeding, this is known to release more nutrients from the herbs and may increase the health benefits.

Consult your vet before treating any illness.
